VAUGHAN, Ont. – York region police are investigating after a passerby found a human skull near Uplands Golf and Country Club in Vaughan Sunday afternoon.
Police say the skull was found near Hwy. 407 and Yonge Street around 2:30 p.m.
Police have confirmed the skull is human, but the cause of death has not been confirmed.
Investigators are treating the discovery of the skull as suspicious.
Officers have cordoned off the site for an investigation and are continuing to scour the area for other remains.
